Pauline Vohl and her painting ÉpanouissementPauline Vohl and her painting Épanouissement

I work with watercolor, acrylics and uses mixed media. I am inspired by the pigments on the paper, their motion, their light, their interference with the water. With years of experimentation, I developped  my own style and am constantly trying other medium and techniques that provoke textures and agreeable surprise.

My favorite is oriental technique. A few brushestrokes on the tissue paper and the creative process have begun. The results are always full of spectacular surprises. My palette is in the warm tones. My paintings are happy . I enjoy painting flowers, landscapes and sometimes abstracts.

I had workshops in different medium and techniques over the years: Roland Palmaerts, Jacques  Hébert, Shernya Veninsky, Gisele Lapalme, Diane Boilard, Nicole Grisé, Raynald Murphy,Micheline Hadjis, Ginette Malouin. Rita shellard.

I am an active member of  Artistes Hudson Artists (AHA) and Traitdartiste.

I also donate paintings in helping great causes: Le nichoir, Nova, Lac Mégantic  and Centre des soins palliatifs de Vaudreuil-Soulanges.
